5 Wii Games I Want To See Ported To Or Remastered On The Switch

With the recent release of Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, I thought to myself how the Wii has such a solid library and some games I really want to see get a second chance in the spotlight of modern consoles. There are so many to chose from, so I decided to pick just a few for today, and in no particular order. I would be excited to see all of these if they were ported but even more so remastered. Here are five Wii games, in no particular order I would love to see remastered or even ported.  Punch Out I will not linger on this one too long as I recently covered it. This game is arcade goodness, can be tough as nails but also just as rewarding. Good art style, good gameplay, and even challenges to add additional replay factor to the already lengthy campaign, this addition to modern consoles, would be a knockout choice.  Fortune Street  This game is so much fun. A remaster would suit it well, for those who do not know, this is like Nintendo and Square Enix monopoly. G...

"Now On To The Next Challenge" Punch Out Wii : A Story Of Resilience

I recently have been playing 5 games mainly on my Wii in the past couple months since I began collecting for it and going down memory lane/trying new things, Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, Tatsunoko V.S Capcom, Wii Sports Resort, and Punch Out Wii. That last entry not only being a childhood favorite but... much harder then I remember. Yes there is a ton of content that is outdated across the series and I acknowledge that, stereotypes branching from the arcade to the latest and last version here on the Wii. Though I will admit it seems that the Wii game is making the strongest effort to represent these countries and those who come from them over just being silly characters and is a step forward.  The gameplay is incredible as tough and sometimes borderlines on unbalanced, but it also leads to a huge satisf...

Power Rangers Rita's Rewind Made Me Feel Like A Little Kid Again

Image
(Image Source: Nintendo) Sometimes a game just brings you back to the good ol days, one that reminds you of the joys of simpler times. Last year from the moment this game was announced to the second I had it in my hands, I was ready for "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Rita's Rewind". I love beat em ups. I love this genre where I will play old and new, good and bad entries in this genre. From original, to long running series with a new coat of paint such as "Streets Of Rage 4" and "River City Girls", to ones based on a preexisting IP. Games like " TMNT Shredders Revenge" and "Scott Pilgrim VS The World", I could list some of my favorite modern and classic beat em ups for hours, and perhaps someday I will. But my first was the game simply titled "Mighty Morhin Power Rangers" for the Super Nintendo, so when I saw the Power Rangers were getting a new game that harkened back to the past, I was beyond excited.  This game has Rob...
