The Made For T.V Movie

I love cartoons and have watched many episodes of series on Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and the Disney Channel. Many shows on these channels, whether they be animated or live action, would have special episodes; they would be heavily advertised and would take up the whole run time, sometimes longer or span multiple episodes. I may have to discuss that someday, but today I was looking back on the made-for-TV movies, which not only sported the longer run times but were advertised as such, so why not talk about movies that never saw a big screen but I still hold plenty of nostalgia for.  Many animated series had a movie that made it to the big screen, from SpongeBob to Recess and PowerPuff Girls. I even saw some of these big-screen epic adventures, but those can be discussed at a different time. I am purely focusing on the made-for-television movies.  Many of these TV movies would take an hour of run time, which is the length of three episodes with commercials, throwing i...

Scooby Doo Has Many Iconic Theme Songs

Scooby Doo has been around for quite some time, and with that comes not only many different iterations on the small or big screen but also many theme songs to go with those versions. I wanted to talk about some of my personal favorites because these are songs I can listen to either while watching the shows themselves or on their own because they are just that good. So grab some Scooby Snacks and let's split up to find some clues as I talk about some songs that I love to listen to from everyone's favorite talking dog. Scooby Doo Where Are You Might as well start with the original song, the one that started it all. This song is just plain fun; it is short and sweet and delivers the feeling perfectly. It adds a layer of mystery in the lyrics but reminds us that Scooby and the gang are here to stop the villain, no matter how scared he may be.  This song is just classic, and I have yet to hear a bad version of this song. Even the version in the movie "Scoob" is a great re...

Pokémon Puzzle League : To Be A Puzzle Master

Image
(Image Source: Wikipedia) With the recent release of Pokémon Legends Za, I thought now was a better time than ever to talk about one of the spin-off games. With a franchise as massive as this, there are plenty of spin-off games, and I love many of them. This game is one of them. This game is just simply rad. This game is another entry in the Panel De Pon or Puzzle League series, also known as Tetris Attack, where the blocks on the screen rise, you must make matches to clear them, making combos and even using the Pokémon you chose at the beginning in the match to launch attacks at your opponents board, trying to be the last one standing at you and your opponent face off simultaneously. There is also a sequel to this game on the Game Boy Color, but that game deserves a ...

The Double Decker Taco And Limited Time Menu Items

Recently, I talked about food items from special menus, specifically based on movies and TV shows, but fast food menus don't always have to have a movie tie-in to run an item for a limited time. When I saw the recently released Y2K menu at Taco Bell, I decided to give one of the items from it a try, but I also wanted to discuss the food items that are not always available for purchase.  I have participated in some of these limited-time menu items or meals, such as the Happy Meal marketed towards adults that has come back a couple of times at McDonald's, and every time nacho fries return to the menu, I try to get them a couple of times before they are gone at Taco Bell. Whether it is using a different type of meat, or a different side and or drink, I do engage with limited-time menu items from time to time. McDonald's has some that are yearly occurrences, such as the McRib or the Shamrock Shake, neither I have consumed before, but maybe someday.  When it comes to Taco Bel...

My Hero Academia Opening: The REVO

The final season of My Hero Academia has begun, and that is still something I am grappling with, it feels like just yesterday I was watching the first episodes of the series as season three was about to be released, but now we are here with this which is one of, if not the final opening of the series, at the time of this post I do not know if there is one or two this season. Today I wanted to talk about "THE REVO", because I have been listening to it and watching the opening on loop. Performed by the band that made the very first opening for MHA, with a name that I do not feel like saying, but those who know the name know it, and if you look up this song will see it. This song is softer and almost somber; even when it picks up to the end, it feels like a soft farewell. Compared to the last opening, which I talked about on this blog, "Curtain Call," it is night and day. Images of the current arc are shown, as well as some different moments, and even some call-backs ...
